Tinsel and Gold, located in sunny Laguna Niguel, California, is born of my incredible love of all things Christmas, especially vintage and heirloom decorations. 

My name is Kathleen Crites, and in the spirit of my love for Christmas and vintage, I have discovered a new passion for designing unique and special keepsake trees, wreaths, and small tabletop designs. I spend many hours searching for the most beautiful and unusual vintage ornaments to use in each original piece. All of my pieces are designed to evoke special memories of Christmas past. Each and every design is different from any previous design, mainly due to the variety of vintage and well-loved ornaments and materials. I try to incorporate a theme into each piece as well as color schemes. I can also create custom orders from tree ornaments and decorations. I can’t think of a happier and more joyful time of year.

I hope that the joy I feel when I complete a design evokes the same joy in people who purchase them for their own homes. Every tree and wreath is sure to become a cherished family keepsake for generations to pass down and enjoy.
